AllTalk
HISTORY & DEVELOPMENT

LRS has been developing communications software for over 9 years.

The initial products, EQuery and EQuery2 were developed in conjunction with Gippsland Pathology Service.

EQuery2 uses proprietary encryption (not PKI) and does not support Web Services. EQuery2 is still supported by LRS but all new users are supplied with AllTalk.

ALLTALK DEVELOPMENT

In response to market forces, for three years LRS has been developing a new product - AllTalk, encompassing PKI methods and other tools. Since early 2005 the PKI method has been in use at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne for messaging to the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).

LRS has written both new Clients and Servers to provide PKI encryption, Certificate Management and Web Services for the health industry.

The design of AllTalk has been driven by the following key criteria :

  • PKI encryption
  • Automated Certificate management
  • Detailed message tracking
  • Easy installation at both Client and Server end
  • User managed Servers (no traffic charges)
  • Compatibility with other systems
  • Web Service (SOAP) enabled
