In August 2006, LRS became the first company certified and issued with a Notice of Integration for provision of HIC Online (HICOL) / ECLIPSE for use in Pathology practices

HICOL provides direct web service electronic claiming with co-operating Health Funds and the HIC .

The web services suite of programs associated with LRS HICOL is suitable for integrating other Vendor's management systems to the HICOL / ECLIPSE payment system.

The ECLIPSE service is arranged so that a single claim to the HIC allows the HIC to collect funds from the complying Health Funds and return the complete payment to the Service Provider.

The HICOL & ECLIPSE services also allow Service Providers to quality assure the patient's standing with the HIC and with their nominated Health Fund (permission required).
